MONEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO DOC
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is to the eye ruby, full and shiny with purplish reflections. In a glass it dances gracefully, leaving
dense and thick arches, symptom of its good alcohol content.
Ripe blackberry, undergrowth, sour cherries and maraschino stand out. A wild note is perceived, which makes it unique. On the
palate it expresses all its depth, with a good structure and persistency. The acidity, well built in the body, gives it
persistency and the tannins are rarely aggressive. The finish is savoury, sensual, reminiscent of black cherry, which can't be
misinterpreted.


COLOUR : ruby, bright and lively, with violet reflections;

FRAGRANCE : intense and complex with an aroma of ripe cherry and a hint of spice

TASTE : ull -bodied, round, considerably soft, it has a persistent and pleasant finish

FOOD PAIRING : 
a wine that is first aged in oak barrels for 18 months and then in bottles; this makes it a full-bodied wine and therefore goes
well with red meat such as lamb, goat and wild boar as well as first course dishes with ragù and typical Abruzzo dishes like
lasagna, arrosticini and braised meat. It is also paired with aged cheeses that have an intense taste and cold meat made with pork
and game.
